The Orchestra's season concludes on Saturday, June 7 at 6:30pm with our popular Annual Concert in the Park. Bring the family and a picnic! The program of popular themes and film music will have music that's fun and familiar to almost everyone.

Music by American Composers – May 9

The Orchestra's season continues on Friday, May 9, featuring a performance of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 by Romain Jansen, our 2024-25 Young Artist Competition Winner (Open Division). Also included, music by Leonard Bernstein, John Williams, Aaron Copland. Pre-Concert discussion at 7:15pm; Concert begins at 8:00pm.

2024-25 Season Continues – March 14

The Orchestra's season continues on Friday, March 14, 2024, featuring our 2024-25 Young Artist Competition Winner (Junior Division), violinist Minji Choi, playing the first movement of the Sibelius Violin Concerto. Also included is music by Julia Perry and Antonin Dvorak. Pre-Concert discussion at 7:15pm; Concert begins at 8:00pm.

Young Artist Competition – January 25 – will proceed as planned!

Competition auditions on Jan 25 are open to the public for the first time ! We are excited to invite the public to view our annual Young Artist Competition contestants perform their prepared pieces, with piano accompaniment, in front of a panel of judges. This is a great opportunity to hear these talented young artists perform at their very best!

Let’s celebrate Mozart’s birthday (January 27) with one of his most sublime works – the Clarinet Concerto – written only two months before his tragically early death.  Forget the pandemic for half an hour, and bask in the beautiful sound of a performance by the Pasadena Community Orchestra, recorded in January 2014.  Our soloist was the extraordinary David Nicholson, and the Orchestra was led by Music Director, Beth Pflueger.
