DESCRIPTION:Join us at the beautiful and spacious First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena for another free concert.  We are excited to present our 2021 Young Artist Competition Winner\, Boxianzi Ling (violin) playing Saint-Saëns. \nLouise Farrenc                    Overture No. 2 in E-flat major\, Op. 24\nSamuel Barber                    First Essay for Orchestra\nCamille Saint-Saëns           Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso\, with 2021 YAC Winner Boxianzi Ling (violin)\nLudwig van Beethoven      Symphony No. 1 in C major\, Op. 21 \nUpcoming concerts are on Friday\, May 12\, 2023\, plus our popular Concert in the Park\, Saturday\, June 10\, 2023.  Visit the Events page for announcements of all the venues\, dates\, and programs for our 40th season. \nCovid-19 update: We want the concert experience to be enjoyable and safe for all attendees. The City of Pasadena has relaxed safety requirements for events.  Face masks are not required to attend this event\, and we are no longer checking vaccination status.  But in consideration of concertgoers that may have elevated risk\, we strongly recommend the wearing of a mask while in the Auditorium.
