SUMMARY:PCO Young Artist Virtual Recital: Audrey Park - Violin
DESCRIPTION:PCO presents our 2020 Young Artist Competition Winner\, Audrey Park (violin) in a virtual recital \n \nViolinist Audrey Park\, and pianist Jun Cho perform \nBrahms – Sonata No. 3 in D Minor\, Op. 108\nChausson – Poème\, Op. 25 \n\nWe are happy to present our 2020 Young Artist Competition winner in this virtual recital. Ms. Park is currently studying at the Julliard School in New York. In May she was featured in a live-stream performance of the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4 with the LA Virtuosi Orchestra. Besides her many appearances as a soloist\, Ms. Park mentors young players through the Back to Bach Project as well as presenting virtual learning events for all ages. The PCO plans to have Ms. Park as a guest artist with the orchestra in the upcoming season. \nPianist Jun Cho is a collaborative and solo artist in New York\, where his appearances include performances in Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall\, and with musicians including Itzhak Perlman. He also has given collaborative performances at the Aspen Music Festival and Sejong Music Festival. \n\nThis concert and all previous video concerts remain available anytime after the premiere date on the Orchestra’s YouTube page. \nMade possible in part by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.
