As we present our 25th season, the Pasadena Community Orchestra Foundation Board thanks you for making it possible. We exist because of your donations and loyal attendance, and the orchestra continues to offer cultural riches through free concerts. This season features a program of works by master composers. Our soloists are from Southern California and have significant training and background in performance. Dramatic soprano Lindsay Feldmeth has recently returned from study and performance in Europe. David Muller, a former member of the Mexico City Symphony and now chairman of the Whittier College Music Department, will bring us a performance of a piece by a contemporary of Mozart. Katharine Starbird will perform the beautiful piano concerto by Robert Schumann. We know that our audience will enjoy this new season of music. A highlight of our season is the presentation in May of the winner of our Young Artist Competition, held in February. Many of our past winners now have distinguished careers in music performance.
Please note our new starting time: 8:00 p.m. |
