Adrienne earned a B.A. in Art from NY State University College at Buffalo, where she studied violin under Dr. Joseph Wincenc and was concertmaster of the college orchestra. Adrienne is a founding member of New York’s Greenwich Village Orchestra where for 10 years she was Principal, Second Violin. During this time she was also Associate Principal, Second Violin with the Queens Philharmonic under conductor Joann Falleta. By day, Adrienne worked in the publishing and home furnishings industries.
In Los Angeles, Adrienne has had an active freelance career, performing with local-area orchestras, chamber ensembles, musical theatre and music videos. Adrienne holds a Master’s degree in Museum Education Leadership from Bank Street School of Education. She has led education programs with the Getty Education Institute, the Japanese American National Museum, and the LA Natural History Museum. She is currently a museum/arts/education consultant for museums and non-profit organizations, most recently working on an online performing arts curriculum with the LA Music Center and conducting exhibition research for the San Diego Museum of Man.
Adrienne joined PCO in 2015. She credits her teachers Joseph Wincenc, Mitch Newman, and Irene Lawton for their guidance but especially Dr. Wincenc for, in his words, not teaching her how to play but for teaching her how to practice.
