Pasadena Community Orchestra - A Continuing Heritage of Fine Music

ABOUT US

Pasadena Community Orchestra (PCO) is a non-profit organization supported by donations from individuals and companies that recognize the importance of continuing the great tradition of music in the community for both players and performers. PCO strives to enrich the community by providing an opportunity for all citizens to hear fine music free of charge and to provide a setting where amateur musicians can perform classical music. The orchestra also sponsors a competition in which young musicians may audition to win a stipend and have an opportunity to solo with a symphony orchestra.

The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who are passionate about arts and music in the San Gabriel Valley. Board members assist in the planning and 'vision-making' of the organization and meet regularly to oversee the general welfare of the orchestra. They also roll up their sleeves and assist in executing events, fundraising, and more. If you are interested in applying to join this dynamic group of people, please call us at (626) 445-6708.

PCO is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. PCO is funded, in part, by a grant from the Pasadena Community Foundation. These grants are made possible by generous donors who have contributed to the unrestricted and field of interest funds of PCF since 1953. PCO is made possible in part by Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division. Orchestra photos courtesy of
